This project was based on the teachings of German colorist Johannes Itten. Students explored how color preferences are rooted in personal experience, physiology, and psychology.

Students created a custom wrapping paper using a repeat pattern that was inspired by the item they gave as a gift.

Using a warm/cool color scheme, students applied the design principle of unity by use of repetition and continuity to execute a composition based on the grid.

Hello Students
I just wanted to let you all know that I am pushing back the due date to Homework #2 Value Portrait Guerrilla Art Campaign to Thursday, May 7. Just before class you should find a place to post your image and we will do a walkabout crit. Also the RSB are due for a midterm check on Thursday as well. Make sure that you have your completed exercises, homework assignments handouts, notes and related images in your book. Have a great weekend.
